On the pub area of the festival, the British Legion have curated and designed the space in the carpark.  

 

This area will have a number of stalls and exhibits in what promises to be an area of the festival that has a traditional 1940s theme. You can expect the follow and more...

 Display collection of 1940s memorabilia demonstrating household items from the period when our Queen was a young Princess. A step back in time....a unique display. 

​

The Armthorpe and Elmfield Brass Band, who have been closely involved with the RBL Burghwallis Branch for many years will play a medley of music from the old to the new to represent The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Between 3-4pm

The Adwick Detachment, C Company (Doncaster); Humberside and South Yorkshire Army Cadet Force will also have a recruitment site. They will also demonstrate turnout procedures and demonstrate basic drill skills.

Demonstration of cadets field craft skills with a small field craft area.

This area opens with the rest of the festival at 1pm.
